Topic: Developing frontline metrics that drive high standards.
Rich Cary from Definity Partners will be presenting a case study on how quality metrics contribute to company culture as well as how metrics can drive employee engagement and the raising of the bar of excellence.
He will share a simple methodology that has helped nearly a thousand frontline leaders develop better frontline metrics through Definity University’s frontline leader certificate course.
Data from a unique and impactful exercise used in the course will be presented that empirically demonstrates the incredible impact of good metrics and goals.
We will engage in discussion and benchmarking on quality metrics currently used at the companies represented at the meeting.
Rich Cary is currently the Director of Education for Definity University, a leadership, operations, and technology firm in the Cincinnati area. In this role, Rich is responsible for developing and delivering classroom training and onsite mentoring for a variety of topics, including Lean, Six Sigma, Frontline Leadership, and problem solving.
Prior to joining Definity eight years ago, Rich was the VP of Operations for a contract electronics manufacturing firm in Lexington, Kentucky, He has also served in various plant management, operations leadership, and Lean Six Sigma roles for Hitachi Automotive Products, Allied Signal-Honeywell, and Parker Hannifin. Rich is a certified Lean Enterprise Expert (Honeywell) and Six Sigma Black Belt (Honeywell, ASQ).
