    Director/VP of Global Quality
    Healthcare Manufacturer
    Cincinnati, OH

    The Newcomb Group is engaged in a search for a Director of Global Quality for a Healthcare Manufacturer, Cincinnati, OH. The Director will be responsible for managing a staff of 25. The position has multi-site responsibility, domestic and international. This is a “highly visible” position and will require interaction at all levels including executive staff.

    As Director/ VP of Global Quality you will be responsible for directing activities and performance of all quality assurance staff for company owned and contracted manufacturing. Prior experience in Manufacturing as a Quality Manager, Director of Quality, or VP of Quality is preferred. Industries include but are not limited to: medical device, pharmaceuticals, apparel and textiles. Solid systems experience a plus.

    Responsibilities Include:
    Implement and manage quality processes and procedures with suppliers and contractors
    Assess needs and manage the certification process of potential suppliers and contractors
    Manage business processes and staff to ensure the availability and quality for all manufactured, purchased, and contracted products
    Manage communications with suppliers regarding quality performance, service and delivery
    Address internal and external customers on issues related to product quality
    Prepare and provide monthly reports on global performance of quality
    Manage a professional staff of 25
    Ensure governmental compliance and industry regulations are being met
    Interaction at all levels including executive management
    Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in engineering preferred
    Prior experience as a Quality Manager, Director, or VP in the medical device, pharmaceuticals, apparel, or textile industries preferred
    Excellent presentation skills
    Knowledge of Statistical Process Control techniques and reporting
    Travel is 40%-60% (primarily domestic but will require some international travel)
    CQM, CQE, CRE, CQPA (ASQ) certifications a plus
    Compensation is commensurate with experience and the position is open to Director or VP level candidates. Full benefits including 401K and annual bonus based on personal and company performance. Relocation assistance provided!
