Full Job Title: Quality Improvement Consultant – James M Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence

Provide expert customer service as a consultant to quality improvement teams utilizing CCHMC improvement science methodology and tools, reliability science, expert level facilitation, and change management methodologies including team building, leadership development, and will building. Understand the aims and scope of the work. Identify and implement QI data driven strategies to ensure team’s success.·Facilitation:
Provide expert level meeting facilitation for project teams, including agendas and outcomes. Keep meetings focused and moving and ensure all participate. Facilitate the planning and execution of PDSAs. Facilitate the development of strategic improvement goals.·Mentoring/Coaching:
Develop connectedness with peers to develop a strong working team. Provide QI coaching to assist I2S2 students in successful understanding of QI methodology and completion of assigned projects. Provide coaching to develop strong team leaders.·Reporting:
Create and maintain timely and thorough progress reports which include key driver diagrams, run charts, and PDSA testing documentation. Provide quarterly updates regarding status of goal attainment. Maintain Level of Effort reports for projects including tracking of PDSAs and goal attainment.·Portfolio Management (Hospital):
Serve as the Anderson Center point of contact for a Strategic Domain Owner (for example, Safety or CSI team). Be aware of projects across the institution related to the assigned portfolio. Maintain and monitor individual goals in portfolio to ensure that goals are met. Work with strategic domain owners to develop multi-year operational plans including SIPs. Maintain current change packages for strategic domain areas (example: Safety – CA-BSI, VAP, SSI)·Account Management (Hospital):
Manage relationships with assigned division. Serve as the primary liaison between the Anderson Center and Divisions/Institutes (bridge the gaps). Facilitate development of mechanisms/structures for division to effectively prioritize and oversee divisional improvement projects to ensure that goals are met.

·Quality improvement experience with multi-disciplinary clinical teams·Coaching experience highly desirable
